Iran ‘Wishbone’ qualified for Toronto Int’l Nollywood Filmfest

Iranian film ‘Wishbone’ directed by Ali Atshani has become the 2nd Quarter Finalist of Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival.

Finalist from each quarter and categories will have the opportunity again, to compete at the first annual 2017 Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival & Awards Night.

The ‘Wishbone’ synopsis reads, Damoun is a former coach at one of the popular Iranian soccer clubs who meets a girl he knew in past.

The film’s cast includes Mitra Hajjar, Hossein Yari, Mahchehreh Khalili, Azadeh Mehdizadeh, Bita Atshani, Mazyar Fallahi and Khashayar Rad, among others.

The Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival (TINFF) aims to bring diversity, pioneering music and cinema in Toronto.

TINFF's focus is to excel creative, independent film direction through diversity, innovation, and uniqueness that captures the series of movements and experiences in a single film.

The first annual Toroto International Nollywood Film festival (TINFF) is scheduled to be held in late October, 2017.
